• Turmeric in a body lotion is about how skin looks, not what colour it is. Nothing here lightens or darkens anything, and a product sold to you on that promise in Europe is making a claim it is not permitted to make.

Opis

Most body lotion is sold on being rich, which is why so much of it sits on your shins at bedtime and is still there in the morning. This one is lighter than that. It sinks in, and you can put clothes on afterwards. Turmeric is here for the same reason it is everywhere else in this shop: it leaves skin looking lit rather than flat. That is an optical effect and a real one — light bounces differently off skin that is properly moisturised. It is not changing your skin tone, and anyone selling you a turmeric product on that promise is selling you something they are not allowed to sell. Two hundred millilitres is about six weeks on legs and arms daily, longer if you use it after a shower when skin is still damp, which is when any lotion does the most work for the least product.
