Why you'll love it
- No alcohol, so no sting on skin a razor has just been over
- Goes on damp, straight after rinsing
- A few drops covers a whole face
- Works over a shaved neck under a collar
Good to know
- Only one photograph from the supplier. We would rather say so than crop the same picture four ways: this page will look thin next to the rest of the shop until we have shot it ourselves.
- It is fragranced. The supplier has not told us with what, and since 31 July 2026 the EU requires 81 fragrance allergens to be declared individually above 0.001% in a leave-on product. If you react to fragrance, wait for the ingredient list.
- It will not stop razor burn. Razor burn is friction, a blunt blade and going against the grain — an oil afterwards makes the skin more comfortable, it does not fix the technique.
Description
The shop sells a beard wax and a comb and had nothing at all for the men who shave instead. This is that. It is an oil, and the format is the point. Traditional aftershave is largely alcohol, which is why it stings — the sting was never doing anything except telling you it was there. An oil goes on skin that has just had its top layer scraped off and puts something back rather than taking more away. A few drops into damp skin straight after rinsing, while the face is still warm. That timing matters more than the product does.
Ingredients
No ingredient list yet. The supplier has not published one, and we would rather leave this empty than guess — an invented list on a cosmetic is worse than none. It will appear here as soon as we can read it off the pack.
Questions
Why oil and not a balm or a splash?
A splash is mostly alcohol and it strips skin that has just been abraded. A balm is fine and heavier. An oil sinks in fastest, which matters when you are shaving at seven in the morning and putting a shirt on at ten past.
Can I use it if I have a beard?
You can, but the beard oil is the better buy — it is built for working down through hair to the skin underneath. This one is for a shaved face or a shaved neck below a beard line.
How much is delivery, and how long does it take?
Delivery is free on orders of €20 or more, and €4.95 below that. Downloads never carry a delivery charge. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days and typically arrive 5–9 working days after that.
Where do you ship to?
20 countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and the UK. The full list is on the shipping page, and you will see whether your country is available at checkout.
Can I return it?
Unopened items can be returned for 30 days, on top of the statutory 14-day EU right of withdrawal. For hygiene reasons we cannot take back anything that has been opened and applied to skin. Return postage is at your expense unless the item arrived faulty or damaged.
Is the price inclusive of VAT?
Yes. Every price on the site includes VAT, as EU consumer law requires, so the figure you see is the figure you pay.
