A sleep mask is the last thing you put on and the only step that gets eight hours to work. This one is a light seaweed gel rather than the heavy occlusive most overnight masks turn out to be, which matters if you have ever woken up with it still sitting on your face. It comes as fifteen sealed 3g capsules instead of a jar. That is not packaging for its own sake — a jar of leave-on gel that you dip a finger into every night is the single least hygienic format in skincare, and a gel with no preservative system to speak of is exactly the wrong thing to keep dipping into. Seaweed is here for the same reason it appears in every second Korean hydrating product: it holds water against the skin. That is the whole mechanism and it is a real one. It is not doing anything to your skin tone and we are not going to tell you it is.
