Description

The charcoal scrub in this range works by abrasion, and abrasion is exactly what some skin cannot take. This is the other way of doing the same job: a gel you massage on dry skin that gathers up loose surface cells and rolls off with them. Papaya is the ingredient doing the work — the fruit enzymes soften what is already loose so it lifts without pressure. Cucumber and coconut are there for the finish, which is the part most exfoliants get wrong by leaving skin tight. Once a week is plenty, and not in the same session as an acid or a retinol. Two forms of exfoliation on the same evening is how people end up with the barrier damage they then buy four more products to fix.
