Description
A light oil that dissolves sunscreen, foundation and the film a city day leaves behind, then rinses off without the slick residue oil cleansers are usually blamed for. Two pumps covers a whole face. Centella asiatica, cica, is the named ingredient and the reason this suits skin that is easily upset by cleansing. There is no added fragrance either, so there is nothing in it on that front to react to. It is the first step of a double cleanse: oil first to take everything off, then your usual water-based wash. If your skin is dry, or you wear very little makeup, it works perfectly well on its own. 150ml in a leak-proof pump bottle, which is the small detail that makes a cleansing oil easy to use every night rather than only sometimes. How to use: Pump two or three times into dry hands and massage over dry skin and dry makeup for about a minute, then add water and keep going until it turns milky before rinsing. Follow with a gentle water-based cleanser on days you have worn sunscreen or heavy makeup.

Questions
Where does this go in my routine, and how do I use it?
First step, on dry skin — not wet. Massage it over your face for a minute so it can break down sunscreen and makeup, then add a little water and keep going until it turns milky, and rinse. Skipping the water step is the usual reason an oil cleanser feels greasy afterwards.
I have sensitive skin — can I use this?
It is made for skin that is easily upset, but patch test anyway: a little on your inner forearm for a couple of days before it goes near your face. That is worth doing with any new product, not only this one.
Does it contain fragrance?
No added fragrance. That matters if your skin reacts easily, since fragrance is one of the more common causes of irritation in a routine.
How much is delivery, and how long does it take?
Delivery is free on orders of €20 or more, and €4.95 below that. Downloads never carry a delivery charge. Orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days and typically arrive 5–9 working days after that.
Where do you ship to?
20 countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and the UK. The full list is on the shipping page, and you will see whether your country is available at checkout.
Can I return it?
Unopened items can be returned for 30 days, on top of the statutory 14-day EU right of withdrawal. For hygiene reasons we cannot take back anything that has been opened and applied to skin. Return postage is at your expense unless the item arrived faulty or damaged.
Is the price inclusive of VAT?
Yes. Every price on the site includes VAT, as EU consumer law requires, so the figure you see is the figure you pay.
