This one publishes a real list: water, glycerin, two gentle coconut-derived surfactants, Curcuma Longa root extract, niacinamide, lemon fruit extract, oat kernel extract and centella asiatica. That matters more than any promise on the front of the bottle. Potassium cocoyl glycinate and cocamidopropyl betaine are mild cleansing agents rather than harsh sulphates, which is why the foam lifts the day off without the tight, squeaky feeling that makes people reach for a moisturiser two minutes later. Oat and centella are there to keep it calm; niacinamide is one of the best-studied ingredients in skincare. It is a cleanser. It gets your face clean, gently, twice a day, and it leaves the skin comfortable enough that you notice nothing at all — which is the whole job. How to use: Wet your face with lukewarm water. Work one pump into a foam between damp palms, massage over the face for about thirty seconds avoiding the eyes, and rinse. Follow with a serum or moisturiser while the skin is still slightly damp.
