Questions
How do I start with retinol without wrecking my face?
Twice a week at night, on dry skin, with a moisturiser over it, for a fortnight. Then three times. Then most nights, if your skin is still comfortable. Some flaking around week two or three is normal; stinging, burning or raw patches are not, and mean you went too fast.
Retinol or bakuchiol?
Bakuchiol if retinol has irritated you before, if you want something gentler, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Retinol otherwise — it has far more evidence behind it, and bakuchiol is the sensible alternative rather than the equal.
Can I use retinol while pregnant?
No. Retinoids are avoided in pregnancy and while breastfeeding, and that includes cosmetic retinol. Peptides and bakuchiol are the usual substitutes. If you are unsure about anything on this page, ask your midwife or doctor rather than us — we sell cosmetics and they know your pregnancy.
How much is delivery, and where do you ship?
Delivery is free on orders of €20 or more, and €4.95 below that. Downloads never carry a delivery charge. Orders typically arrive 5–9 working days after dispatch, to 20 countries including the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Can I return something from this collection?
Unopened items can be returned for 30 days, on top of the statutory 14-day EU right of withdrawal. For hygiene reasons we cannot take back anything opened and applied to skin.
