If you ran a search here and got no results, the first thing to rule out is a typo or an odd plural. The second, more likely explanation is that the search described an effect we do not claim, because the underlying product does not do it. An empty search is often the honest answer.
Why does a search for whitening or lightening return nothing?
We do not list anything as a whitening, lightening, bleaching or depigmenting cream, and a search using those words will keep coming up blank here. Under EU cosmetics rules, a cosmetic cannot claim to change your natural skin colour, and turmeric — despite the folklore — does not do it either. Why can't you find a collagen cream that 'penetrates'?
Collagen is a large molecule. It sits on the surface of skin and cannot cross into it, which is why you will not find a product on this site described as penetrating skin with collagen. What a collagen product can genuinely do is hold water at the surface and leave skin feeling smoother and looking plumper while it is there. Why is there no charcoal product that 'draws out' blackheads?
Charcoal does not pull anything out of a pore. A search for hair growth, regrowth or beard growth will not return anything on this site, and it never will. That is a medical claim under EU rules, not a cosmetic one, and we would rather sell you nothing than sell you a false promise. What a hair oil can honestly do is condition the hair that is already there and make dry lengths and ends look and feel better. What should you search for instead?
Once you know a search came up empty because the claim behind it does not hold up, it is worth re-searching for the effect you are actually after: hydration, a smoother feel, an evener tone, a firmer look, a calmer flush. Those are things a cosmetic can genuinely do, and this site has real answers for most of them.
