Most toners are water-thin. This one is closer to a very light lotion, which makes it a better fit for skin that feels tight the moment it is towelled dry, and a poor fit for anyone who wants something that disappears instantly. It goes on after cleansing and before whatever comes next, morning and evening. Niacinamide sits alongside the humectants and is the reason to choose this over a plain hydrating toner, if uneven-looking tone is what bothers you. This is the daily step, not the exfoliating one. It is meant to be used every day, unlike the acid toners in this range, and the two are different jobs rather than alternatives — a mistake worth avoiding, because using an acid toner daily is how people end up with a sore face. How to use: Morning and evening after cleansing. Press a little into the face with your fingertips rather than wiping it off with a pad, then follow with a serum or moisturiser.

Can I return it?
Unopened items can be returned for 30 days, on top of the statutory 14-day EU right of withdrawal. For hygiene reasons we cannot take back anything that has been opened and applied to skin. Return postage is at your expense unless the item arrived faulty or damaged.
Is the price inclusive of VAT?
Yes. Every price on the site includes VAT, as EU consumer law requires, so the figure you see is the figure you pay.
